Io: how would you call your genre, you liek it is called screamo?
Derya N.: well i suppose its hard to generalise, but a lot of people say we are progressive metal, or technical metal.i dont really mind the labels we are given, i prefer if people listen to the music and make their own minds up if they enjoy it or not.
Io: It is hard to play live your kind of music in your country? i mean
how much do they pay you, how many show
Derya N.:well it has been very difficult for us. we have all been playing together since we were 15 years old, playing various types of music. we have played very small venues, with no one in there! but we have also played some of the most prestigious venues in the UK. As we are still developing and getting our name out there we don't have a set fee. All we are interested in is covering our costs for now.We have just signed with a management company so we are looking forward to playing higher profile shows, and more often! haha

Io:the dream of every young band is to be signed up , how did you get signed up? i mean
what have you done to get an engagement?
Derya N.:As all of the band members have been at university all of the UK for the last year, it was hard for us to practice, and play regularly so we were planning from June for this to start properly. We sent out a lot of press packs to management and booking agencies and got replies from a few enthusiastic companies.
Io:So you just send randomly?
Derya N.:It was just a process of deciding the best company for us then, and we decided to go with Uproar Management, as we are big fans of the other bands on their roster
and the work they had done for them.
Io:now what do you think if you tried to send the demo to italian companies ?
Derya N.:I suppose it isn't something we have thought about much as we don't know much about the Italian scene! yeah, thats what I thought. In Europe, Sweden, Germany and the UK are the main places for new metal bands. There aren't many from Italy, Spain, France,etc.I don't think it is impossible for bands to build a bigger scene in Italy, just more people need to get involved in the scene.
